The Make Space programme takes place alongside the ‘Woman’s Hour Craft Prize’ exhibition at Bristol Museum & Art Gallery, and the Bath Knitting & Crochet Guild is delighted to have been awarded a place on Friday 31 August.
Members will have a selection of their finished work on display, demonstrate knitting and crochet to visitors who drop in, and teach any beginners the basic skills. Do have a look and ask about their work, they’d love to chat to you about it.
The ‘Woman’s Hour Craft Prize’ exhibition showcases the most innovative and exciting craft practice in the UK today. Traditional materials and historic skills meet new techniques and challenging ideas in a richly varied, stunning and very contemporary show which continues until 2 September.
