I’ve been so busy working recently that I haven’t been posting on here about my work, so the next few posts are a bit of a catch up…
Following on from the Holburne purses I created another series of purses, these ones were based on abstract flower designs.
To create the designs I used a combination of heat transfer print with hand and machine embroidery. The background image is applied first through heat transfer.

Wadding stitched to the reverse of the main fabric
